Following the recent launch of our Pro Hunter World Time
collection, HYPEBEAST published an article exploring the new World Time and its
functionality.
British Rolex custom workshop Pro
Hunter has just created its first-ever technologically enhanced
custom piece, resulting in a blacked-out world timer.
The watch begins with the Rolex GMT-Master II ref
116710LN as its base, which undergoes a stealthy transformation via a
matte-black diamond-like coating developed in-house specifically for the
stainless-steel case and bracelet. The piece is powered by the automatic
calibre 3186 from Rolex, a GMT movement usually capable of presenting two time
zones with a power reserve of 48 hours.
For this World Time Stealth edition, however, Pro Hunter has implemented a new 24-hour floating scale around the rim of the black dial, which makes one full rotation every 24 hours. Working in tandem with the redecorated ceramic bezel which includes 24 cities from the planet’s 24 different time zones, the watch can tell the time of any of those cities at once.
This collection is currently open to Pro Hunter members for
pre-order. If you are interested in purchasing a World Time in this collection,
or to join the waiting list, please send us an email at info@discoverprohunter.com
