We are proud to be the first company to personalise a range of limited edition steel Rolex sports watches, creating a collection of stunning and desirable timepieces.

Originally designed as a robust timepiece for hunting, the collection has now plugged the gap in the Rolex product line of sports watches. The designs not only pay homage to the golden years of Rolex of the 1950's and 1960's but are also faithful to the Rolex style and history.

Our designs are inspired by Rolex vintage models such as the Daytonas with anti-reflective bezels, the 4-line James Bond big crowns, the Military Submariners specifically created for the Special Boat Squadron, and especially the black coated Rolex Submariner made for a few British Army Officers based in Africa.

Customisations include:

Anti reflective "Diamond Like Carbon" case coating, available in three unqiue styles; original, matt and stealth.

Military models fitted with fixed bars and a canvas strap ensuring durability and comfort for outdoor activities.

For many years our hunting clients yearned for a Rolex designed for the hunting community.

So we collaborated their ideas and it took me back to when I held a black coated Rolex Submariner in my hands especially made by Rolex for a few British Army officers based in Africa.

Others have only come across stories or heard of this legendary watch but I have actually seen and held it and the design was embedded in my memory.

This resulted in the design of a smart and exclusive timepiece that is both practical and pleasing to the eye. The Pro Hunter was born.

No, Pro Hunter is a high quality customisation of a Rolex Sports Watch. We have no affiliation with Rolex.

No, as a general rule, Rolex Service Centres do not service modified or customised watches. Therefore we have invested in our own service centre based in London, UK, with Rolex trained watch technicians. We now have service centres in Geneva, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Yes, every Pro Hunter comes with a five year in-house warranty covering the case, dial and movement. Please see our Warranty Page for more details.

(i) The original Rolex Guarantee Papers. However, we would like to be very clear to avoid any misunderstanding; as the Rolex Watch has been modified, the original Rolex Guarantee would be treated as void by Rolex Service Centres.

(ii) The Pro Hunter Guarantee which gives a full two year guarantee on the underlying model and customisation process.

No, all Pro Hunters are customisations of brand new Rolex watches.

For the Pro Hunter models with fixed lugs (usually the military style), only a nylon strap can be attached. However, on any model with a bracelet, any type of strap can be fixed onto the watch, for example, nylon, steel or leather.

Under normal wear and tear condition the black coating will not wear off. If subjected to extreme abrasion against a hard, rough surface, such as a brick wall, then it can. However, the coating can be re-applied during a simple service.

Yes, a Pro Hunter retains all the properties of the underlying watch.

We will continue to bring out new lines, in a limited edition policy. However, we will not tap any existing lines.

We are able to customise your existing watch with or without Pro Hunter branding, providing you have the original Rolex guarantee papers.

Yes, we provide various straps in different colours and thickness in both nylon and exotic leather.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, we cannot guarantee you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require an invoice or proof of purchase.


There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@discoverprohunter.com.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

To return your product, you should send us an email at info@discoverprohunter.com. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over 50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Pro Hunter is pleased to announce that we are now offering 5 years warranty on all our watches from 1st November 2017.

Clients can now enjoy a 5-year warranty on all Pro Hunter watches bought on or after 1st November 2017.

Excluded in this warranty is any accidental damage of the watch.

After this 5-year period, if a client would like a service there will be a charge for this however we will offer a further 2-year warranty extension on the movement. This extended warranty excludes any damage or deterioration that results from an accident or from mishandling of the watch.

If the sapphire crystal of a Pro Hunter has broken or cracked, a service must be carried out as some of the dust from the glass could compromise the movement.

Under normal wear and tear condition the black coating will not wear off. If subjected to extreme abrasion against a hard, rough surface, such as a brick wall, then it can. However, the coating can be re- applied during a simple re-coating.

All our watches will now come with a 5-year warranty on the coating.

After this 5-year period, if a client would like to send their Pro Hunter in for re-coating there will be a charge for this however we will offer a further 2-year warranty extension on the coating. This extended warranty excludes any damage or deterioration that results from an accident or from mishandling of the watch. It will include general wear and tear.

Pro Hunter clients will enjoy one free re-coating for any accidental damage of the watch within the first 2 years of the 5-year period. Re-coating caused by accidental damage will be chargeable after this, even if within the 5-year period.

We cannot re-coat certain parts of a watch separately, as this will result in an uneven black coating of the watch. Therefore, the whole watch will need to be re-coated to maintain colour consistency.

A Pro Hunter is a customisation of a brand Rolex and hence many of the care techniques for a Rolex will still apply.

Make sure to screw down the crown tightly to ensure its waterproofness, after winding it up manually, resetting the time or changing the date.

When you wear your Pro Hunter daily, you don’t need to wind it. If you take it off and set it aside, the watch will retain its “charge” for two days or more, depending on the model. However, if you haven’t worn your Pro Hunter for more than a couple of days and the watch has stopped, we recommend that you manually wind it when you set the time before putting it on.

The Oyster case of your Pro Hunter protects it from water and makes it completely dustproof and waterproof. All Pro Hunters are waterproof to depths of at least 100 metres, and some can even withstand unfathomable depths of 1200 or even 3900 metres. To maintain the watch’s waterproofness, the Oyster case needs to be properly sealed. The crown screws down tightly to create a hermetic seal like the hatch of a submarine. When you reset the time or the date or wind the watch manually, it is extremely important to ensure that you have screwed down the crown until it can’t turn any further.

The black coating is a diamond-like carbon coating that is used in industrial applications that require an extreme hardness with low friction. The coating does not affect any of the functions of the Rolex that is being customised

Under normal wear and tear conditions the black coating will not wear off. If subjected to extreme abrasion against a hard, rough surface such as a brick wall, marble floor or adverse weather conditions then it can compromise the quality of the coating.

Pro Hunter has no affiliation with Rolex, and Rolex will not service or repair any Pro Hunter watches. Please do not contact them for any requests, and you can direct your queries and repair requests to our service centres via email services@discoverprohunter.com.

Our flagship service centre is in London, but we also have service centres in New York, Hong Kong and Geneva.

For re-coating repairs watches must be sent to the London service centre in order to keep the quality of the coating consistent.

It is important that you retain your Pro Hunter guarantee card for authorisation purposes when sending your watch in for repair.
